"My now husband and I joined Hiitcore in the fall of 2018 with the simple goal of being healthier. However, I had my own personal goal that I needed to reach. I was determined to fit into my wedding dress by June. At the first fitting in December, I discovered I was wrongly measured and I would need to lose about 1.5 inches in my waste and tone pretty much everywhere. I immediately felt comfortable with Alyssa, but waited until January to tell her my real reason for going to Hiitcore each week. Once I shared with her my anxiety about the wedding dress and asked about personal training sessions, Alyssa was incredibly accommodating and went through all of the plans and options to make the personal training work for me and my schedule. We had nailed down Sundays and Wednesdays to train and then got to work.”

"Alyssa knew my fitness level from the classes, but was able to look even closer at how I was performing the movements and where I needed to target to get the best results. I watched how she would be taking mental notes of things I was struggling with or a movement that was not quite right. The next session, Alyssa would dive deeper into whatever I needed to improve upon. She taught me how to focus on my breath, where to tighten and when to push myself. I always leave the sessions proudly thinking, ‘I seriously just deadlifted/squatted/rowed/etc. THAT much?!’. I was seeing results in a way that wouldn’t have happened if I was just attending the classes. Not only were my clothes starting to fit looser and the scale numbers going down, but I felt more confident, happy and strong.”

"When I think about Alyssa as a trainer, I think of someone who empowers their clients and pushes them to become their best. There is one session that stands out to a testimate of how great of a person and trainer Alyssa is. The workout was 10 minutes on the air bike (30 seconds on 30 seconds off). It doesn’t sound too bad, until you have a coach standing with you reminding you to push harder and push for your goals. I went all out with Alyssa’s encouragement (burning around 300 calories in 10 minutes) and then spent the next 10 minutes laying on the ground with my legs in the air trying to return my heart rate to normal. Once I was able to catch my breath, Alyssa and I took the remainder of the session talking about what I was getting out of the training, how it was working for me and if there were other goals I wanted to achieve. Not only did I get an amazing workout that day, but I also felt heard and that I had someone rooting for me to fulfill my goals.”

"Fast forward to June, the dress fit perfectly and I had never felt so beautiful and strong. Our sessions now take on new goals. However, that feeling of being supported and closely watched to ensure I am getting the best workout as well as improving my form has never gone away. My next goal is to do an unassisted pull up. Which I’m sure with Alyssa guidance, support and encouragement, will be achieved soon. ”

"I choose HIITCORE because it was something new and I liked the idea of being a part of something from the beginning. I went into HIITCORE and met Alyssa. She explained the HIIT concept and I explained my challenges and needing help to prepare for a wedding. Alyssa suggested personal training a couple of times a week and supplement with classes. ”

"We kicked off training. I couldn’t do most of what she asked me to do and I had back pain throughout most days. I was just so out of shape. Alyssa used her unique techniques, repetition and praise. She would modify where needed to still have me do the exercise but taking my limitations into consideration. Alyssa and I have a standing Sunday training session and these have been the key. She works with the basics and has me perfect them and then when I see the exercises later in a class, I can do them with ease and I have correct form.”

"Alyssa knows each of her clients and how to motivate and push them. She has this confidence in me that I can do it and it pushes me past any mental barriers. I would recommend HIITCORE to anyone looking to change up their workout, or someone looking for a gym but who doesn’t know where to start.”

"My results have remarkable and multi-tiered. Where I started just wanting to see the number on the scale go down, I gained so much more. Through the exercises and classes, I have gained confidence and overall health. I am no longer having back pain because I have developed core strength and I have gained confidence. There isn’t a whole lot better feeling than lifting something you previously couldn’t, doing 5 more reps of an exercise or even not tiring as easily.”

"Most people join a gym on January first because their New Year's resolution is to lose weight and get in shape. This year, it took me an extra month to commit and so, on February 8, 2018, I met with Alyssa for the first time. I had never worked out with a personal trainer before, but since my attempts at weight loss had been a series of yo yo dieting, I thought a trainer would be the key to my future success and hold me accountable to stick with a lifelong fitness plan.”

"I'm pleased to say that Alyssa provided the motivation I desperately needed. She is extremely caring, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and most of all, supportive. I trained with her twice a week and did a combination of strength training and cardiovascular exercises. Throughout our training together, I felt that we were building a relationship and I never questioned that she had my best interest in mind.”

"Each workout was personalized and challenging to say the least. She pushed me and kicked my butt...but in a loving way! Whenever I felt I couldn't do more, Alyssa was right by my side encouraging me to continue...and I always did.”

"I have lost 30 pounds since I started training and hope to continue to lose more. Alyssa was quick to emphasize that it's not all about the scale but more importantly, how you look and how you feel. She is right. I have never felt in better shape, I have an increase in energy and I feel strong for the first time in my life. I look forward to turning 63 this August and continuing to be fit.”

"I met Alyssa a little over 2 years ago at a point in my life where I was extremely weak and very anxious about getting back into exercise. I had recently been the recipient of two organ transplants, a kidney as well as a pancreas, dialysis and my 21 years of being a brittle diabetic was over, but the ramifications of the horrible disease created chaos within my body and left me with major heart failure, cardio myopathy. So needless to say, I was terrified to hit the gym. However, from the moment I met Alyssa, I knew she was a person that could help me achieve my goals and also the one that would help change my life forever.”

"I started training with Alyssa and we worked slowly and cautiously. I wore a heart monitor and we continuously watched and tracked my heart rate, she slowly pushed me harder testing my limits and every time I told her I couldn’t do something she proved me wrong. In the beginning I could barely walk up stairs without getting winded and having to stop. But this only lit a fire within Alyssa to get me stronger and that passion in her made me want to come back day after day. I have been challenged and pushed by Alyssa, and she has taught me a great deal not just about exercise but about myself. She makes working out fun and inspires me to reach new goals unheard of when I first started training with her, our constant work together and her motivation pushed me to try new things.”

"I joined Alyssa’s’ HIIT60 class and soon after Crossfit. It’s because of her that I continue to train sometimes up to 6-7 times a week, because of her I attempted my first Crossfit Open, I ran my first mile since I was in High School, I’m deadlifting 315 pounds, bench pressing 200, the list goes on. Remember when I first started I could barely walk up stairs. From day one I have been completely impressed by her passion to help her clients, her knowledge, and her ability to connect with her clients and all individuals that happen to cross paths with Alyssa in the gym and I’m now the healthiest I can say I have ever been, even before I got sick. I’m now 30 pounds lighter and every day showing more definition and strength muscle wise.”

"When I first was diagnosed with heart failure I asked the cardiologist if this diagnosis would ever change, I was 30 years old and had a heart of an 80 year old. As of June 2018, at my recent appointment my doctor looked at me in awe and said, “you are a marvel of modern medicine and pure determination”, he called me a superhero I had made the impossible possible. I had reversed my heart failure. My constant training, cardio and lifestyle changes gave me back my strong heart. None of this would be possible if I did not have Alyssa, if she didn’t go above and beyond to listen, to learn and to help me overcome my fears. If I’m a superhero, she is definitely my partner in crime!”
